There are several reasons, purposes and intention behind ‘A Better Sleep’, ranging from increasing awareness of the benefits of A Better Sleep, to the understanding of, and the practical insight into sleep and how it impacts us daily. We want to promote practical, useful and effective products and the services that we can provide ourselves as healthcare practitioners.

Practicing separately in the same city we’ve both had interesting careers and both developed practices that were more about health than just teeth (important thought teeth are). We’ve both fought the frustration and resistance from “the system” and wanted to provide some more answers to people’s sleep problems. CLICK ON Steve for his profile.
Remember, good sleep is crucial to our good health and longevity.
The public need information that is relevant to them – and they deserve many of the existing myths challenged. Everyone’s busy now and time is at a premium, we need effective, practical and manageable pieces of information – NOW!
Doctors often know the impact of the lack of good quality sleep on their patients yet the system is not geared up to it’s assistance and support.
Sleep medicine remains a neglected topic in the medical undergraduate curriculum despite agreement on the importance of sleep for general health curriculum.
Sadly, most dental schools do not provide practical training either. We need to increase awareness at all levels.

Now, more than ever before, we need to be advocates for our health. Sleep is a vital part of health and so we must be advocates of our sleep health too – which means we need to know something about it.
Our office concentrates on the big picture. We know that we can make a small but hopefully significant effect ourselves, but we also know that to make this meaningful we need to share awareness and information.
What’s your next move?
