HOW GREAT IS SLEEP?

BUT HOW GREAT IS YOUR SLEEP?

Is sleep important ?

We’d all say yes, but if so, why do most of the public at large, doctors, dentists, healthcare systems, governments, workplace safety, driver’s registration and transportation departments, commercial drivers, parents, places of work (retail, factory, educational, etc.), hospitals, care homes – all appear to act, as if healthy sleep were not?

How important is sleep anyway, why do we sleep, what happens when we sleep, what happens when we don’ sleep, how can we sleep better and what can help us to sleep better?

Sleep is necessary for your health, both now and for your future. It helps your immune system and your body’s maintenance, it affects how you think, how you act, even how you age, both in body and mind. It helps to determine how long you live and the quality of your life you enjoy on a day-to-day basis.

It affects our mood and our safety.

There are many things that can affects our sleep

Sleep disorders, our environment, lifestyle, outside issues, illnesses and injury but our hurdle remains that most of us are not getting enough quality sleep.
